Damson Tweed Dog Collar

Damson Tweed Dog Collar

A timeless classic - give your dog a striking new look with one of our tweed collars!  Handmade from genuine 100% wool Yorkshire tweed, these collars come in a range of traditional and bold colours and are also available with matching leads.

All of our dog collars are lovingly handmade in London by ourselves at The Black Dog Company using strong plastic clips & fittings.  Each collar is made individually and is unique, so please note some variation in the positioning of the pattern across the collar is possible.

This handmade dog collar is available in three sizes as standard (although we are always happy to make bespoke sizings to order, subject to availability and suitability of fabrics - please contact us to discuss):

  • Small - Neck size range 10" to 15" - Collar width 3/4"
  • Medium - Neck size range 12" to 19" - Collar width 3/4"
  • Large - Neck size range 15" to 24" - Collar width 1"

Our dog collars are intended as fashion collars - as with any collar, lead &/or harness combination, all dog owners should ensure they use equipment which is suited to their dog's strength and ability to walk comfortably to heel on lead.  We cannot take any responsibility for incidents that occur whilst any dog is wearing one of our collarsif you feel that these collars may not be suitable for your dog please consult a dog trainer or behaviour professional before purchasing or using.

All of our dog collars, leads and bandanas are treated with Scotchgard to help protect them against water and dirt. If your collar gets wet or dirty it can also be washed, although to keep the tweed looking it's best for as long as possible we wouldn't recommend you allow your dog to swim regularly whilst wearing this collar.

Care instructions: your tweed collar can either be washed by hand or machine washed at 30°C - first gently remove any excess mud or dirt and tie your collar inside a thick sock or similar to protect both it and your washing machine.

After washing, dry off any excess water, then lay flat and allow to dry naturally. Once dried, the collar can be gently ironed with a cool iron if required.
