£22.00

A timeless classic - give your dog a striking new look with one of our tweed leads!  Handmade from genuine 100% wool Yorkshire tweed, these leads come in a range of traditional and bold colours and are also available with matching collars.

All of our dog leads are lovingly handmade in London by ourselves at The Black Dog Company using strong diecast zinc clips & fittings.  Each lead is made individually and is unique, so please note some variation in the positioning of the pattern across the collar is possible.

This handmade dog lead is available in two sizes as standard (although we are always happy to make bespoke sizings to order, subject to availability and suitability of fabrics - please contact us to discuss):

    • Small/Medium - width 3/4" (three quarters of an inch) - matches the width of our Small and Medium Collars; length 4 feet
    • Large - width 1" (one inch) - matches the width of our Large Collars; length 4 feet

Our dog leads are intended as fashion leads - as with any collar, lead &/or harness combination, all dog owners should ensure they use equipment which is suited to their dog's strength and ability to walk comfortably to heel on lead.  We cannot take any responsibility for incidents that occur whilst any dog is wearing one of our collars or leadsif you feel that these leads may not be suitable for your dog please consult a dog trainer or behaviour professional before purchasing or using.

All of our dog collars, leads and bandanas are treated with Scotchgard to help protect them against water and dirt. If your lead gets wet or dirty it can also be washed.

Care instructions: your tweed lead can either be washed by hand or machine washed at 30°C - first gently remove any excess mud or dirt and tie your lead inside a thick sock or similar to protect both it and your washing machine.

After washing, dry off any excess water, then lay flat and allow to dry naturally. Once dried, the lead can be gently ironed with a cool iron if required.
